Practice Services Manager Andrea Ravas draws on her extensive knowledge as an experienced practice manager and registered nurse to deliver a wide range of services and solutions to medical practices across Victoria and Tasmania.

In her past roles in practice management, Andrea has managed and implemented strategic business plans, administered the finances of the practice, ensured compliance with legal requirements, coordinated patient services and recruited staff.

She has also conducted her own practice management consultancy, working with practices to manage the accreditation process, provide marketing and promotional advice and improve the business performance of practices through well-outlined business plans.

Her thorough knowledge of all of the administrative aspects of running a medical practice, including the Medicare schedule and HIC processes, as well as the information systems and software underpinning most medical practices, have enabled her to assist many medical practices significantly increase their revenue through effective use of the schedule for billing.

Tania Worroll

Our Practice Services Consultant, Tania Worroll, joined the mpps team in November 2011.  Her background as a Practice Manager and accreditation consultant provides some evidence of her expertise in supporting practices to build their capacity and capabilities.

She has more than 25 years experience in the Health Industry, with 18 years as a Practice manager and Consultant to medical practices. This provides her with a thorough understanding of the Medicare Schedule and HIC processes with expertise in maximizing the use of Medicare items including Chronic disease and incentive payments.

Tania has had experience with setting up, merging and closing practices, conducted reviews of medical practice operations, developing solutions to address staffing issues, reviewing accreditation readiness, staff training and Practice Management mentoring.

Tania has a Graduate Certificate in Practice Management and also works as a Surveyor assessing General Practices for Accreditation.

Her experience and academic background gives her sound insight into continuing Quality Improvement and practice systems as well as staff management and business reviews.
